Safari Itinerary
The 3 Day Tanzania Camping Safari package departs from Arusha and visits three of Tanzania’s top parks: Tarangire, where there are more elephants, Lake Manyara, where you might see beautiful flamingos and lions that can scale trees, and Ngorongoro Crater, which has cliffs that rise 600 meters above the ground.

The trip starts and ends in Tanzania’s tourism hub of Arusha, where we will pick you up at your lodge or hotel for a brief safari briefing the day before or in the morning before departing for Tarangire National Park. If you need transportation or lodging in Arusha before or after your safari, kindly let us know.
We leave for Tarangire Park today, traveling across wide-open plains south of Arusha town with a packed lunch. Tarangire has the highest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti environment from May to October, and its wetlands in the southeast of the park are home to over 300 different species of birds. Tarangire offers a fantastic opportunity to experience Africa’s nature and seclusion because it receives less visitors than other parks and has a rolling savannah filled with thousands of baobab and acacia trees. A full-day game drive, dinner, and an overnight stay at Campsite/Lodge/Hotel are all included.
We leave for Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast, traveling through the forested Ngorongoro Crater Highlands before reaching the rim of the crater. We’ll descend into the crater, one of the world’s most populated game areas and home to about 40,000 creatures. The big five — the lion, leopard, rare Black Rhino, buffalo, and elephants — are likely to be present here. We’ll see herds of wildebeest, zebra, and Thomson’s gazelle in addition to the big five. After a picnic lunch, we’ll continue our wildlife drive before leaving the crater and making our way to Campsite/Lodge/Hotel in time for dinner and the night.
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park with a packed lunch after breakfast. This region is surrounded by Lake Manyara Park, which is frequently disregarded but is home to numerous animals and is most known for its tree-climbing lions. After a full day of game viewing, we’ll have time to return to Arusha by car.
